I agree, if I say something and someone has a different opinion and makes me look like an idiot or doesn’t want to associate with me anymore because of what I said then those are the consequences I face, I’m fine with that, I just don’t believe in silencing people because I will be the next one to be silenced. The best defence against a bad idea is a good idea. And ideas can be exchanged best when speech is free.
I agree. But there’s no such thing as cancel culture.
People who are offensive - are either good or bad for business.
Corporations/Companies/Organizations decide to keep or fire the talent.
Not the people who were offended.
People have the right to say if something someone says offends them.
If someone wants to be offensive or controversial, face the consequence.
Madonna offended a lot of people. People tried to cancel/censor her from the beginning. So this is nothing new.
I agree wholeheartedly. And many of these offended people are hypocritical. I once heard a woman say, “I don’t believe in violence, and anybody who does ought to be shot down like a dirty dog.”
Madonna has the right to put herself before the public, but I never found her appealing. I don’t know why, but what she does on stage looks raunchy to me. I’ve seen other sexy performers who looked sexy to me, like Britney Spears. Britney is every bit as explicit as Madonna, but Madonna is the one who looks raunchy to me. I don’t know why.

The thing about comedy is theres a fine line to tread. And some people just dont seem to understand how to do that.
Ive seen people just throw themselves under the bus with bad humor lol.
I think the best comedians are ones that dont have to resort to vile or hurtful things. Sure it can get a shock value laugh but really its kinda scumbaggy.
I don’t like being offended. I did not know some people like to be offended. That’s new to me
