Bed Day anyone?

Sometimes i need a day of rest, i was lying outside for a while in my garden but its a bed day, does abyone else have bed days?
I think it must be quite normal for sone people, i have been extremely abxious so i am listening to lovely relaxing slow piano in my earbuds

Do you have a bed day?

  • Yes occasionally
  • Yes, frequently
  • No never
  • Only when I feel really bad
  • I don’t have a bed

I don’t lie around in bed unless I am so physically ill I have no choice. I get out and Do The Things as much as possible. I have to maintain momentum to beat my negative symptoms.

I try not to stay in bed even when I’m really sick
Things have to get done like feeding my pets and taking the puppy out for walks.
Plus my elderly father relies on me as well

I have bed days or very low activity days quite often. Includes not playing games or doing music etc as it is just too much concentration and I can’t enjoy it - I just get frustrated. I don’t normally spend 100% of it in bed, but I go back to bed frequently and just lie down.

I find that spending too much time inactive and lying down causes me to get stiff and achy joints and muscles.

2014-2017 I was in bed with my bed, so to speak.
Too many negatives.

Hopefully, never again.

That is a long time man, i am sorry, i cant even imagine spending even 3 weeks in bed let alone 3 years.

It’s something one can only live with if one is getting full support from a caregiver. I relied entirely on my family.

it is something that i worry about a little becuse of my Chronic fatigue, if it gets worse it can be very debilitating and can cause a person to be so exhausted that they cant leave their bed, even just breathing can be difficult :(,

its great you had some help though.

I start having all kinds of physical pain everywhere if I’m in bed too long. I max out at about 10 hours and am in pain at that point.

Have you tried getting a softer mattress? i got a really good memory foam topper and it helped a lot, the bedding i got recently also levelled up my sleeping area. just a suggestion if you havent tried.

My husband has spine injuries that require a special mattress. It’s now 12 years old and we need a new one. We just can’t afford it.

Right now, my job is the only reason we’re eating.

We’re desperate to find ways to afford living due to inflation. I’m not saying that to start a political debate. It simple just is what it is.

No, never. Can’t afford it in my career, can’t afford it mentally.

I took day treatment off. Kinda had a bed day but I got up at 1:30am. My schedule was 9:00-1:30, 5:30-7:00, 10:00-1:00. So more sleeping than normal. I take days off like i did today, but I feel better when I’m productive. Been unmotivated as hell lately though. I did my dishes. If I end up cleaning my house I’ll consider it a good day.
