Awkwardness in social situations but no anxiety

I can’t talk in large groups is that part of the schiz.

Lot’s of people, schizophrenic or not, are afraid of talking in groups. It’s very common. They took a poll of people and 80% of people are more afraid of public speaking than they are afraid of death. When my dad got re-married in 1990 the wedding reception after the ceremony was held in a hotel room with about 25 people. I was the Best Man so I had to make a toast in the crowded room. I did fine. In some social situations I shine. In others I self destruct. I’m still alive though, I survived.

Talking in large groups is daunting even if you don’t have schizophrenia. I think that’s normal.

Group psychotheraphy helps a lot with this problem.
