Seeing GP next Monday to discuss going on anti coagulant. That’s because it was discovered during my hospital stay that I have atrial fibrillation. It seems it pus you at increased risk of having a stroke as you get older.
Good for you for taking care of your health @firemonkey
Good luck with everything
@Wave-thanks. Apparently it’s very common… I posted this on the forum last year.
I use Tambocor and Bilocor for my heart dysrythm/atrial fibrilation
Drs refuse to treat mentally ill people. They even refuse to simply run tests. They’re nasty. Once, I had brain lesions that appeared and lost the use of the whole right side of my body. I became unable to swallow. I was put on npo meaning nothing to eat or drink. A nurse started screaming at me that she knew I was faking and forced me to eat a graham crack. Naturally, I choked. You will die if you get sick and it’s life threatening if you have sz, sza, psychosis, or bipolar. Nurses and drs hate and I mean truly deeply despise mentally ill people. The only way to get treatment is by getting a patient advocate. That’s why more sz and bipolar patients die at higher rates than others.
It certainly does. Welcome to my existence. Be careful to check if any new thing you take doesn’t play nicely with whatever you are prescribed as a thinner.
Thanks for that advice. I’m wondering whether it’s a recent development or something that for one reason or another was missed. It was a little strange in hospital during and after the chest infection and pneumonia. My BP which for ages has been in the 120-135 range, dropped ,with a few exceptions to 90-99 systolic or below (mostly in the 90s range. Lowest 82 systolic.) When I was allowed home it was still low.
