I have always been thankful that my first psychotic episode did not occur during covid. I had enough delusions already without using lock downs ect as fuelling rational. Also the hospital protocols in my country were pretty draconian in terms of access and then obviously getting leave ect. Some of the conspiracy theories also made me think that a large minority of the population should have been in psychiatric hospitals. Crazy to think what this kind of hysteria would do to actually crazy people if there even is such a distinction which personally I think there is not.
Honestly I think I might have never recovered if I experience psychosis during covid. Would have been pretty rough delusionally
