Thats why i want booster shot asap
I am skeptical about this.
I caught it and it was mild. We are lucky, I know, even my un vaxxed kids had it easy. I was really worried about them.
So, not sure how true this is in practice.
I think these are just overall trends. In practice it’s all over the place, anything can happen.
When I was getting my vaccine the expert (ie, The guy in charge of the study) said mixing and matching (Taking Astrazeneca and then Pfizer) led to severe side effects on that second shot. But I didn’t have any side effects at all on my second shot.
When I, was getting mine, the person giving me the shot said that no one with Moderna had caught covid. But that was before the antibodies wore off. It’s been months now, but in the beginning I know my daughter was exposed close quarters and didn’t catch it.
People with mental illness don’t get treated well by doctors, unless they’re psychiatrists. They act like they hate us passionately. I think the higher mortality is due to lower quality care for people with sz.
I dont think so…
Ive got severe asthma, overweighted, signs of diabetes, and metabolic issues.
I saw doctors work in red zone, i honor them.
Its just individual…
I received buster, and if there is a chance in six months for4th, i will go…
I can’t even describe to you how mean nurses and drs have been towards me in a hospital (not psych unit) setting. I have many horror stories.
Same.

Ok, I would stand up for you about everything…
Maybe its a difference from country to country…
Mine psychiatric dr is smiling only when she sees coffe I brought…
Well I heard lots of SZ smoke and that probably makes a difference with a respiratory
Yess, oh well, smoking…
I just want to go without a mask out some day…

I don’t think so Beep, in the article it says that they took medical factors into account and morbidity and mortality rates were still higher. From the article:
“We found evidence of associations between schizophrenia and increased COVID-19 morbidity and mortality compared to controls regardless of sociodemographic and medical factors,”
So it appears schizophrenia alone puts us at increased risk.
I thought the same as you though before reading the article fully. You would think diabetes, smoking and other factors prevalent in sz would be the cause, but not so according to the article.
That is, if you believe in the articles conclusions.
Lol. My psychiatrist is really nice. I’m so grateful to get to see her.
