Back in the 70’s and 80’s, your product came already assembled.

An employee would come to your house and assemble it for free.

Who is the jackass who invented 7 dollar coffees!
I go to Starbucks and it’s like…“Would you like a twist of paprica? A shot of grenedine? A lemon squeeze? A double cup with an umbrella?”
I’m like…“NO! I just want a strong-tasting coffee for 2 bucks!”

My wife went to the flower shop and was charged an extra 5 dollar ‘Arrangement Fee’ by the florist!
WHAT!? That’s their job to arrange the assortment of flowers for you!

I’ll be 55 years old in a couple of weeks.
Maybe I’m just turning into that grumpy old guy who yells at those meddling kids to get off of my lawn.
But it really does seem we are all nickeled and dimed at every turn these days. There seems to be less and less discretionary income as there was back in the day.
The news said for a family of four, they will be paying $600.00 more for groceries this year. Oh yeah, that’s another thing…the grocery stores only stocking the more expensive product lines…forcing you to pay a premium…instead of putting the cheaper product on the shelves beside it to compare. I’ve noticed this particularly when buying paper towels. Instead of selling one or two rolls, now you have to buy a pack of 8 or ten paper towel rolls for 8 to ten bucks!
Sheesh! It never ends!
