it is good! It can be easier to draw because it is easy to undo a stroke too.
I was at the library so i drew the room. I didn’t add much detail for desks and stuff. I get a bit impatient with details lol
nice drawings, i find it hard sketching 3d things like that, hopefully i’ll improve, i was looking at art courses recently… they look pretty cool.
Right on man. You could start with drawing 3D boxes of different sizes and angles. And could also picture them on a 3d graphical plane in space. Thats what i did first is draw 3d shapes and stuff.
I’ll check it out, i always found shading boring but i can see its benefits, i feel like I’m starting to mellow out artistically in my wiser years lol
Yeah i mostly drew see through boxes and stuff for a while with no shading. But i see its kinda necessary for 3d solid drawings
My latest project is textile art… I’m going to alter my denim jacket and add lace, band patches, studs and spikes on it. This picture is painted with fabric dyes on cotton fabric. This will be the back patch, it is my favourite band Xiu Xiu themed, I just finished painting it now it needs to be ironed carefully (to lock the farbic dyes in properly) and then I’m going to do some embroidery on it too! My jacket will look so good I can’t wait to start the embroidery!
wow, nimeton, sounds like you really know your stuff, did you go to art school?
Thanks, yes I have studied art in many places art is a passion of mine.
Lunch doodle. Started with some triangles and some lines and curves then thought it looked like it could be a fish and a turtle so i added faces
Actually the long guy might be a reptile
I thought Parrot on top, Turtle below the other one looks like a kaola bear maybe
I see flying submarine and man holding half eaten pizza
Thats the greatness of this piece. The beauty of it is in the eye of the beholder
Love y’all’s art. I’m not good at art but I love other folks art.
