Are your meds in a blister pack or a bottle?

The medication I get Seroquel comes in a rectangular box with blister packs in it. The box has the Seroquel logo on it. That is how it is in Australia. But I have seen in the United States people get their tablets in an orange bottle or something.

I would prefer a blister pack. For one thing, it is easier to keep track of when you take a dose and how much you have left.

My Procyclidine comes in an orange bottle.

My AP’s and Diazepam are blisters.

Definitely agree it’s easier to work out what you have left.

I am always getting my prescriptions messed up at the moment as my pdoc is always making changes.

I am not very good and managing my meds tbh, and the GP doesn’t help with that either!

I don’t like blister packs. They are a lot of them hard to open and it’s hard to hang on to the pill when you take them out of the pack. Somehow the pill always lands on the floor. I’d much rather pour pills out of a bottle.

I’m a pro at it now. I have taken the tablet out of the blister pack hundreds of times.

I should be a pro at it by now. I am an ex R.N. and I used to have to deal with blistered meds all the time. Plus I’ve been dealing with my own blister packaged meds for a long time. But, I still have a hard time taking pills out of blister packs. It’s such a headache.

In the UK most medication comes in blister packs of tablets or capsules in a card package.
Generics are used whenever possible to save the nhs money.

I prefer to take the brand name. When I’ve looked at the full price of brand name Seroquel and generic Seroquel the price is almost identical. I get a discount anyway, so a box costs me like 6 Australian dollars.

Seroquel is very expensive compared to the generic in the UK, in the US it is all about making the most money of the drugs people take.

I don’t know why it is so cheap at the chemist I go to.

I’m not complaining though.

If I want brand name Seroquel in the UK from my doctor I can get a private prescription and pay for it myself, if I want it on my free prescription I can only have the generic ones.
I did consider buying Seroxat on private prescription, as generic Paroxetine made me have spots and a rash, it is much better now after being on it since last year.

Yeah I much prefer the brand name. I trust it more. I think in a lot of places if you really want the brand name you can get it.

Generics are usually OK too though.
