Many moons ago, used to head out to the lake every weekend in the summer, where I used to live was excellent for places to camp, never ending choices.
Was fun, fishing, swimming, bonfires at night. Now I live in a new place, not many places to camp that I like. Up in the Mountains can be fun, but lot of bears up there, two people have died this year from bear attacks.
Do you camp?
I def plan on going camping this summer, either at this lake a couple hours away or at the coast… at least I hope we will get to go

i did camp in the past when i could go out still… now i can’t go out alone so going camping somewhere is very hard to do.
I remember when i went with a friend to luxemburg… and we just slept under the open sky and did awesome walks… it was fun.
we made tostis on a campfire… it tasted great being hungry from all the long walks…
A friend and I are planning a camping trip in the mountains soon. I don’t do it as often as I would like, so I’m excited.

My boys do because they are in Boy Scouts.
I used to tent camp a lot, I’m too paranoid for that now but I do have a tent just in case I ever can again. I miss falling asleep smelling like a campfire.
We use to camp every once in awhile when I was a kid. and we used tents to sleep in, not some fancy camper/trailer. These days I would think it would be too uncomfortable sleeping on the ground and I would think I would want to settle on a camper to sleep in if I
went camping 
I got no desire to sleep on the ground anymore, hotel if I go on a road trip. But I don’t much like going anywhere now
I hate mosquitos n insects when I go camping. Also the humidity!

When I was young and in the boy scouts we went camping all the time
Then when my friends and I got our licenses and could drive we went camping a lot in the summer during our high school years. It was fun. Drinking and partying and having a good time
However I haven’t been in over 20 years. I do miss it.
i camp about once every year or two. last time i went on a hiking trip and camped out, i couldn’t sleep that night, the ground was so hard, and my air mattress kept losing it’s air, so i was on the ground basically. not big on outdoor toilets either, i prefer a cozy hotel stay.
one time i camped in the redwoods, in california, and the people in the camp site next to mine, brought just about everything with them, they had all this junk laying around the campsite they thought they would need. doesn’t appeal to me, that kind of camping.
but i did get a tent for my last birthday, and i set it up on my covered front porch and sleep out there sometimes. its next to my kayak with a sign that reads “flood insurance” haha.
There are too many campers here. More and more each year. There public pay camping up river from me. Lots of big camping trailers. To camp for free down by the river, on my side, you have to drive by my house. There is a new private camp ground going in between me and town.
The only people who likes the tourists. Are the ones making money off of them. I could make money off of them but I don’t want to deal with them.
When I want to feel like I’m camping I turn off all my lights, and go outside to look at the Milky Way. I also have a place for a camp fire and another place for a bonfire.
It’s been many years since I went camping. I think the last time was in the 90’s. I like it. We used to go camping in the Sierra Nevada mountains.
