I’ve been needing a new heated throw. I can’t say enough good things about them. You warm just you, not the whole house. And you really get warm and snuggly. They are the best invention. They can be quite pricey though, but here’s one that’s discounted because of color. You can get the red or the red plaid for $21. What a steal.

Those can catch fire so I don’t use electric blankets

These don’t go on the bed, they go on your lap. I don’t think they catch fire.

I think this is a good idea.
At the moment I only heat my flat because my mother tells me off when I don’t as everything gets damp.
Most of the time I am in the kitchen anyway, with the window open to let the smoke out.
I don’t smoke in the other rooms.
If I get cold I tend to go to bed, or just wear layers.

Oh man, my life changed when I got one of these. I’m sad that it is broken now. I can’t wait till my new one gets here. You should totally get one.

my grandma always had electric blankets…I would get one but I have enough blankets for my bed and I bundle up during the day in my house so I don’t need one but thank you good idea…
