Are people with sz/sza allowed on

The family and friends forum? I just checked it out. I thought I could reply to some people but not sure if it’s appropriate.

You are, but have to make another account.

Trust me, it’s no place for us. The families ask all sorts of questions and that side is not moderated as well as this side. So there’s a LOT of talking about crazy alternative therapies and even some fighting.

Is the family and friends forum moderated by anyone?

Edit: Nevermind, I see you addressed that in your response.

Its crap last time I was there parents of szics said their kids should rather die than living with sz. Some abandoned their sz kids.

Tbh, I don’t know who mods that forum. We’re basically a seperate entity.

I made an account on that forum a while ago, I read through some threads for a couple days but had no interest in posting anything.

I tried it since my brother has it now. I got a response saying I should be glad I’m high functioning. I don’t consider myself high functioning but the fact that I can converse coherently does apparently put me in a different category from most of their members’ afflicted loved ones.

I do envy their ability to talk religion. I just have to accept that doing it here could be disruptive.

You’ll also find that we are held in low-esteem there and not taken very seriously, if at all.

Best to avoid.
