I don’t know how credible these claims are.
My iPhone 15 Pro ran a little warm when I over used it once before.
Never had a problem since.
Most iPhones are like this

It does get unacceptably hot, but that is while charging and running CPU intensive tasks at the same time.

I have to say – in fairness – I’m pretty sure my Samsung would do the same thing if I fast charged it and gamed at the same time. It’s common sense not to do this.
