Who's getting the iPhone 15 in September?

I have to get a new iPhone as my charging port on my iPhone 11 pro isn’t charging properly. So I’m getting the iPhone 15 pro. Had my current iPhone 4 years so I think it’s a pretty good investment for their longevity but I would have liked to get another year out my 11 pro. Who else is getting the iPhone 15 in September ?

They talked about new iphone 14 having lousy batteries that age prematurely. I don’t know if that was fixed?

My iPhone 11 Pro battery is still 94% health after 4 years usage. Just the charging part is messed up and won’t charge properly.

iPhone 11 Pro thats been used alot for 4 years. Two times in Sri Lanka, Two times in Italy, One time in Turkey and one time in Ireland, as well as many UK holidays. It’s still 97 health.

My brother’s wife had that problem with her iPhone and took it to be repaired. They simply got rid of some dust and fluff from the charging port.

nooooo. i used to have an iphone 11 but now im an android guy. i can never justify paying $1k for a flagship when a budget phone can do everything i need it to do for 1/4th the price

No. I have an iPhone 12 that I’m very happy with. I’m keeping it for several years to come.

I would be good if I can sort my phone out this way? Its still a good phone and I want it to last a few more years. What’d kinda shop did she take it too?

I got an 11 pro too. I’m gonna get another couple years out of it if I can. It’s been very good to me.

It’s almost impossible to do that with apple products because they 've designed them to make it very difficult for third parties to repair them

Just a general phone repair shop. She just got lucky that it was such a simple fix. It wasn’t an apple store or anything.

Do a Google search for phone repair in your area.

@everhopeful there are loads of repairs shops in my town. Hopefully it will be a quick fix for longevity but otherwise will get a new phone.

Dude. It will cost you only 15 quid or so - to have a new usb Type C fitted, at your local phone shop. Hell - ive done it a couple of times myself.

I would love to, but i cant afford it.

I have a 13 pro max. It seems to be working great, and no need to upgrade as yet.

However, it might be the case the 15 pro max might be different

12 pro max to 13 pro max never changes much.

The 14 pro has that dynamic island, but that term is sticking lipstick on a pig!
