Going to be a late night for me need the distraction who’s up for conversation on anything y’all choose the topic!
I will distract you. Do you watch any TV shows? I’m currently into The Good Place, Brooklyn 99, and Dirk Gently.
Hi Longhorn21,
I’ll be up for a while too.
What kind of music are you into?
Thanks @Ninjastar and wow I haven’t heard of any of them are they on any entertainment apps?
Hi @Montezuma i’m into rock, country, classic, jazz, oldies, old school hip hop
and you?
Awesome! That’s all good stuff.
Myself, I listen to all kinds of stuff. These days though it’s mostly old 60’s and 70’s rock and soul music. A little old country. And bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, Blue Oyster Cult.
I also like a lot of indie artists like Daniel Johnston, Father John Misty, and Belle and Sebastian.
Do you like Roy Orbison and Johnny Cash?
Sweet love Johnny Cash use to be my drinking playlist lol
LoL. Yeah, his song “Flesh and Blood” got me through some tough mornings after partying. For sure.
I’m helping an old neighbor kid work on a project box craft thing he’s going to use to all his girlfriend to prom. Are you crafty? Do you have any hobbies?
The good place has Season 1 on Netflix. Brooklyn 99 and Dirk gently are on Hulu.
Brooklyn 99 is a sitcom about NYPD cops starring the singer from the Lonely Island.
Andy Samberg. He’s from near my hometown. Funny as hell
I would have to say Hurt is the one that has gotten me through the toughest time.
I have both hulu and Netflix so I’ll definitely look into it thanks for the suggestions. Have you watched Mad Men or Blue Bloods?
I haven’t, but I’ve heard good things. What are they about?
Yes! Cash did a great job of covering that song from NIN.
A lot of times a band will cover a song and try and make it their own in a unique way, and often fail.
But Cash really put his heart and soul in that song. Kinda made it his own.
Do you like to read books at all?
mad men is based on the 60s business era and blue bloods is about a NYPD family
yup I agree 100% and no not really its hard for me to focus. I really want to get back into it though like I use to as a teenager
I understand. I have to be really interested in a topic to read a book from cover to back.
But lately my concentration has been a little better.
Sometimes though I struggle because of auditory stuff.
I would love to jump back into reading any recommendations?
Have you read any of the discworld series?
