Began taking 50mg of Topomax yesterday and feeling tired and imbalanced and strangely hungry. Has anyone taken Topomax or is taking it and how does it make them feel?
There’s another thread going on about this, I saw them posting just the other day. Maybe look for that and see what was said there? Just a suggestion

I would say though that what you described is pretty common when you start taking Topomax. Nothing to worry about it but if it continues check with your doctor. Source: I used to work in a pharmacy before I got sick
I tried most of the essential mood stabilizers except for Topamax.
It causes lots of different cognitive issues so I refuse trying it.

Perhaps, but I’ve learned that in medication there are very few absolutes, so I never say “None”, “Never”, “All”, or “Always” about meds.

I try to stick to the stats.
topamax made me psychotic never again. i wanna lose weight so bad 
I posted the last last query.
I decided to go ahead with it. I had gas for the first three days. Also I started at 25mg x1 and felt weird so I cut them in half for a week. Now at 25.
Was really hungry the first few days but now not so much. Drinking less most days.
Starting reading again. 45 pages/2chapters.
I haven’t read in years.
So so far so good. 1 week today
