Anyone love “The Goonies?”

It was one of my favorite films as a kid and I still love it! So funny. Gotta love Sloth!

Anyone else like this film and why? Whose your favorite character and what’s your favorite scene?

I love that movie. The first time I saw it I watched it with my brother and sister and another family with three kids at their house. It was a day off of school. It must’ve been a new rental. I think I was in second grade.

I was listening to the 1985 countdown on 80s on 8, SiriusXM. The song that Cyndi Lauper was singing that was on the TV in the beginning of the movie actually charted. I just love that. It’s called Goonies R Good Enough.

I always feel peaceful and soothed when I listen to 80s music. I was a young child in the 80s and remember the music that played. I didn’t have schizophrenia, major depression or anxiety in the 80s. I was a carefree kid. I ran all around the neighborhood with kids and went to a wonderful school back then. Probably a lot of people feel that way about when they were young.

It’s a brilliant film. The children save their town from developers and the adventure doing it. My favourite scene is when the older brother is chased of the road by the car.

I like the scene when Sloth saves the day. Sloths so cool and so funny lol

I can’t choose a favorite scene though.

I suppose the Sloth scene swinging on the rope is the highlight of the movie.

I’ve never actually seen The Goonies, but I had a droopy eyelid when I was younger and people called me sloth so I have never been in a hurry to see it.

I haven’t seen The Goonies since the 1980s. It was a classic, tho…

Well that’s rude :face_with_steam_from_nose:

Sorry, people can be mean.
