I used to see a black dot (which I thought was a spider or bug) pretty regularly. I’m pretty sure it was an hallucination. Is that what you mean?

Yeah like a fleeting glimpse

Yeah it only lasts for like a split second, it’s not the worst hallucination. I think it could be stress related but maybe not

Yeah mine is stressed related too

I haven’t seen it in a while. I used to see it while hearing voices and my voice would take credit for it

When I was first getting unwell, I vividly saw snakes and mechanical spiders with intricate machine parts etc… not unlike the ‘replicators’ from stargate. They would climb all over the place.

Also, on the topic of bugs, I would vividly see and be able to telepathically control swarms of perfectly realistic ants and have them march in shapes and any pattern I desired.

I was Lord of the Insects! xD

Mine weren’t those floaters things, I get them too. This was different like a black dot

I get this a lot, except it’s shadow people and wasps rather than spiders. I have a real phobia of wasps, so I guess it’s my brain creating the things that frighten me most. When it’s really bad they start landing on me, and I can feel them too, which is really horrible. At the moment though it’s just glimpses from the corner of my eye.

I see rats. I can feel them brushing against my feet.

I see spiders crawling on my arms. They go by very quickly

I also think it stems from what we are afraid of, as I am terrified of both snakes and spiders.

If hallucinations can be quantified the same as dreaming hallucinations which makes good sense as they are both working from the unconscious mind affecting the conscious one, be it sleeping or awake; then to hallucinate a spider could be interpreted as (from my favourite dream interpretation site) as:

To dream of a spider represents feeling trapped or hopeless. A negative situation that feels inevitable or impossible to escape. Beliefs about things that you think are permanent or will never go away.

Alternatively, spiders may reflect irrational beliefs. Powerful insecurities that prevent you from doing what you want in life. Irrational fears that prevent you from enjoying yourself, or powerful desires for things you don’t believe you can ever have.

Positively, a spider may represent a positive area of your life that is intricate and patient. Inevitable success based on skill. This would usually be represented by blue or white spiders.

Example: A man dreamed of seeing spiders flood his bedroom. In real life he had an embarrassing health problem and believe it would never allow him to have a girlfriend. The spiders reflected how trapped he felt my his health problem.

Hope this gives you some insight.

To dream which is to hallucinate while dormant could mean:

To dream of a rat represents underhanded behavior, people, or situations. Rats reflect lying, cheating, stealing, or backstabbing other people.

You may be hiding something from others, or having a problem trusting someone.

To dream of a dead rats may reflect dishonest or deceptive people that have been caught or punished.

To dream of a blue rat represents people or situations that can’t trusted that are working hard to earn trust.

To dream of a white rat may represent deceptive or underhanded behavior that is for a good purpose. Lying or cheating for a good cause.

Hope this helps give you insight.
