Every time I think I’m cured I have an episode of some kind. I’ve been doing well lately, but this morning I woke up and looked at the wall, and swore I saw a spider quickly crawl up the wall. I got up to get something to take care of it, but when I got back it was gone. It was moving towards the ceiling, I have bit of an overhang on my ceiling just above my bed, and it was headed in that direction. When I got back there was nothing, I looked on the flat part of the overhang thinking it crawled to the top, or was in the corner between the wall and the overhang, but it wasn’t there…anywhere.
So figuring it must have just been a hallucination, I curled up in bed again and closed my eyes, when I opened them again it looked as if my room was slanting, and it was a steady slant, like it was still moving. I had to close my eyes several times to get the image to go away and my room looked like a normal room again. Then my head has been mostly quiet the rest of the day, but while I was sitting out in the living room I thought I saw someone move from one bedroom to the other, but all three of us that live here were sitting in the living room watching TV, and the cat was curled up on the chair next my dad.
I took all my pills like I’m supposed to, I just get annoyed when I think I’m doing so well then I have little episodes like today that just remind me I’m not normal…

You are normal. You just have a brain disorder.
Some people have other diseases. I know this doesnt help when you
re going through it, but hope you have a good rest of the day OO
What kind of spider was it?
Don’t know exactly, it looked a little reddish/brown short legs…but nothing out of the ordinary, kind of your typical house spider. It could be possible, we’ve had a lot of rain this week, and there is some minor flooding in the area. But I don’t see how it could have disappears so quickly. I don’t see any cracks in the wall or ceiling…I typically see bugs/spiders in my hallucinations because I have a bit of a fear of them, not complete arachnophobia…I was gonna squash the spider myself with a towel, I couldn’t have been gone a minute because the bathroom is right next to my bedroom…but a common hallucinations of mine are of some kind of small 8 or 6 legged creature crawling on me…
When I was little and screamed at a spider in my room, my father ran in to see what the fuss was, and laughed because he said that spider was more afraid of me than I was of it.
I do have to wonder now that you mentioned the slant to the house…I keep thinking that every time I leave the house, people come in and make things smaller. Naturally, they have to make the walls and ceiling smaller as well, and done so quickly, it takes on a comical crookedy house from cartoons.
or the elevator/hallway in willy wonka? when they’re in that black and white room, then they go into the hallway with all the doors? just before entering the room where everything is editable?
I hope you feel better today. Don’t be so hard on yourself. You’re not alone in this…
I often think I’m out of the woods only to find that I’m not there yet.
I haven’t had any huge and panic causing hallucinations but I’ve been fighting the delusional thinking like no other.
Good luck and don’t let the small glitches throw you.
