Anyone in the uk doing permitted work?

I think it is anyone on benefits who works under 16hrs a week as i am trying to see what i could do instead of college (as another option)

Permitted hours is okay but don’t do over your 16 hours as this will mess your benefits up. Might not be for awhile but they will find out and you’ll have a large overpayment. Unless your on UC and they’ll know straight away when you declare then they’ll stop you benefits.

I’m still on DLA idk what’s going on with all of that.

I did voluntary work for a couple of hours a week making tea. The DWP had no problem with it - cos it was seen as theraputic.

Be self employed in something you love if you’re not sure and have a passion to pursue. It might come of something, and you go at your pace

One of many suggestions.

I tapered off Universal Credit with Self Employment, and they let me plough money into investing into equipment without dropping my benefits
