My dr just prescribed it to help me lose some weight. My A1C is 6.6. I also take Metformin. Anyone else take Victoza?

Do you have diabetes?
Victoza is a diabetes drug.
I have diabetes and take Metformin.
My A1C is 6.6 while on Metformin but I have to do a repeat A1C before I officially have the diagnosis. It’s to help me lose weight the dr said
