Go off clozapine because of low white blood cell level?

What did you replace it with?
I had to go off of it. Every time my blood was drawn, my level was lower. I was stopped because my pdoc told me that if it dropped any further, she’d have me hospitalized. I didn’t have any symptoms except for an improvement in TD. I went back on Saphris afterwards. We are trying to reduce the dose of that now, but we are going really slowly because I’ve been on it for so long.

in USA, if clozapine fails, we have olanzapine and risperidone as most effective drugs. Rest are there but they are not much effective.
