I just read about it on wikipedia, it’s called Pronoia. I think I had it during my psychotic episode! I believed there was this plot against me which had poisoned my mind, yes, but also that there were good forces out there who were ultimately driving me back toward happiness as best they could through messages in the media. So it was frightening but also somewhat comforting at moments. Though fear was the main emotion most of the time.
Have you ever experienced “pronoia” ie everyone wants to sleep with me, the whole world thinks I’m a god etc?
yeah I had good and bad . i’d get messages from media, music mostly and sometimes tv. it made me think I was a very important person in a past life that I had all these people helping me.
I was much more sensitive to it a couple years ago when I was a little younger, I think that’s the proper word to describe us…we’re sensitive to all kinds of things
I feel hypersensitive too, like an exposed nerve or something, but its my mind you know?
Ever since late high school I’ve just had certain “triggers” that just set me off freaking out. I don’t appear disordered but inside im totally losing my ■■■■.
It gets me discharged from hospitals but no treatment seems to have taken away the skittishness.
Yeah…my delusions changed and ASIO ( the aussie version of the CIA ) were sending me messages via electronically controlled birds. By this stage the television was talking to me which I thought that they were broadcasting a special channel directly for me to give me messages. I even went as far as having a special meeting with a crisis team to get ASIO to stop spending all that money on me for private television!
