Anyone else see Inside Out 2? I'm impressed with how it personifies negative emotions

I saw this on my AMC monthly movie pass and it’s even more relatable than the first one due to the emotions being more advanced and adult. It also seems to focus on the central conflict more than it does world-building, as most of that was done in the first movie. I highly recommend it just from a standpoint of appreciating mental health.

Anybody else see it? I love Nostalgia the best even though she’s only in a few scenes.

You’ve been hyping it up so much that I’ve considered watching part one on Disney this weekend.

I liked the first one a lot. I keep forgetting there’s a second one out. Thanks for the reminder!

Well my favorite psychologist of all time who worked with me in my thirties was pretty crazy about the first one. He thought it was a really good metaphor. I watched the first one again on Disney + when I got back from the second one.

Apparently it broke records and outdid Frozen 2. I’m not a Disney fan really, more of a Pixar fan. I lived right near their studio when I was in California.

Another film that captures negative emotions really well is The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

“You wanna know who makes the best headcheese?!”

I saw it with my girlfriend at the drive in about a month ago. Enjoyed it a lot. I might reboot my Disney subscription if the first one is available on it since I haven’t seen it yet.

I’m waiting for it to be released for streaming platforms. I have an eighty inch TV and a popcorn maker so I am quite satisfied to watch at home on the cheap.

Absolutely. The first one is one of my favorite movies of all time.
