I love this movie. One of my favorite aspects of this film is how awkward the characters are.

My husband thinks it’s super dumb and doesn’t get it at all.
I loved it from first viewing and have laughed every time I’ve seen it since.
Which has been a good many times.
Every time I do watch I can’t help but think how long that actor had to practice for that dance scene.
It was flawless.

It’s good. You might want to look up the one-season long animated series based on the movie, I thought it was particularly enjoyable and captured the same type of humor.
Classic in my eyes.

My favorite thing about the movie is that everyone stands so still and is so awkward. I don’t know what it is, but it has an awkward tone.

Napoleon Dynamite is amazing in a lot of ways.
Most impressively,
It was a blockbuster film that included zero sex, violence or even cursing.
Legit, it was a wholesome, funny movie that actually made money.
That’s insane.
