Anyone burn insence?

Do you use sticks or something else? Pic of your holder?

I’m kind of a believer in aroma therapy and would like to burn some

I occasionally burn sticks of nag champa, the original nag champa (blue box). I have a coffin-style burner.

once when I was in the sober house me and my roommate who was 17 at the time, went to the skateboard/trippy hippie weird shop called Utopia and we bought a bunch of incense (or maybe it was sage, but close enough) and the guy was like “Duuuuuudeeeeeeee, if you put the sage in each of the 4 corners of a room, and then burn it, it will make the room all balanced and stuff” so we went home that night and did it and the fire alarm went off for 2 hours in the middle of the night and woke up the whole neighborhood the fire engines had to come it was pretty funny we couldn’t figure out how to turn the fire alarm off.

cant say ive burned incense since.

Yeah everyday in the house …

A upstairs tenant in a place burned iIncense one time, I started to burn up, sweat was pouring from my head, I could taste it, that was what lead me to the answer I had been looking for, people kept telling me my body was reacting to something as I kept getting hot flashes, sweat pouring off me and in the end it turned out I was sensitive to man made perfumes.

I had to get rid of everything in the house that had perfume in it, It was so bad i called a neighbor and asked if they were using candles and she said I just lit one and you can smell it already? I said no I could not smell it but was reacting to it.

Once I researched it, they are all made from cancer causing chemicals which our bodies store in our body fat. what smells so good to us is actually killing us, unless you use natural products.

I used to love incense, but the smoke started irritating my eyes, so I just switched to making essential oil sprays. Back when I used incense I would just browse somewhere like a Salvation Army thrift store and pick up a cool or cute looking dish for cones. I preferred cones because it was easier to control the mess (ashes). Plus the cones were cute.

Yes i do…!!!

I burn incense sticks almost every day. This is quite common here in India.

I like burning incense once in a while.

My parents say they get headaches from it, so I only do it like twice a week or so.

I really want to buy an aromatherapy essential oil diffuser so there wouldn’t be any smoke involved.

My Psych always has a essential oil diffuser on at full blast and I started to like it.

back in the olden days, they’d say that if friends are coming over and the place wasn’t clean,

my mom used to burn something to keep mosquitoes away, when I was a kid. probably wasn’t incense though, yet it smelt a little interesting.
