In theory it could because it doesnt block dopamine but little is known about what it does for schizophrenia. However with it being out im sure it will be tried on schizophrenics off label

I see trials for Parkinson’s and Alzheimers.
I didn’t see a trial for sz by itself.

i called the company. they said it is not clear yet how much time it will take for trails and studies to get completed
