Put your face in a bowl of ice water for 30 seconds. We learned this skill in DBT group to calm yourself down in moments of distress. Afterward try box breathing: breathe in for 4 seconds, hold for 4 seconds, breathe out for 4 seconds, hold for 4 seconds.

Honestly, you need to make an appointment with a pdoc to tackle your anxiety. It sounds like you can’t handle it without meds.

Good luck. You really need to reach out.

Hey…hope you’ll start to feel a bit better soon. I’m slightly worried over you.

Maybe you could take just one dose of meds, to calm down, and when calm, make a plan? Arrange for all the calming stuff to be in place…and if you still want withdrawal, do so with a doc?

Not really have to add much…except some more herbs for anxiety…but that’s a med just as well. For me, aromatherapy also works…like sniffing saffron or lavender…i think it’s proven to slightly help anxiety.

Wishing you well…

Psilocybin is what sent me over the edge and made me psychotic originally. I don’t know if microdosing would be safe maybe it’s totally different.

Sounds good. For me, it’s real weird, but saffron tea or the smell of saffron, or other herbal teas or smells, can really make a bit of difference. I think vitamins also help, especially if you had deficiencies.

Do eat better, veggies and all really help as well.

I am learning to repeat what my nurse said. In a firm strong way, think or even out loud “Calm down.” Just hearing a verbal command can do wonders.
