It’s pretty crazy it’s like 99% sure that he was a child molester and yet his music is celebrated and we continue to act as if it didn’t even happen… it is complicated and he was a genius but still…i think our handling of it is bizarre

There are some pretty good songs that are Hit even today. As a musician and a dancer he is the best in pop culture. Back in those days in school Used to dance for competitions selecting his songs. Used to listen to it even now though I am into heavy metal. But as human being not sure what his private life was really like, dnt want to get deep into it.

Yeah, I agree. Personally I enjoy his music no less even if he did molest children. I don’t think about that much.
I think he became a very troubled person as his musical career progressed. I’m not sure he was what you would call a childmolester. Obviously he liked to be close to children, maybe because he had a child in himself as a adult. The kind of person he was I don’t see him forcing himself upon anyone, but no doubt he did have issues. I can still enjoy his music.

I think Michael Jackson was an incredibly talented,
But seriously disturbed man.
I remember reading an interview with some of his backup dancers.
They said he would go through the choreography once and have totally and completely have it down.
They would exhaust themselves practicing for something that came totally naturally to him.
It is amazing.
However,
There’s no doubt his legacy is tarnished.
Not a laughing matter,
But this always reminds me of this episode of The Boondocks.
Not in support of R Kelly, at all, but it has some interesting points.
Mostly it’s just comedy, still entertaining and thought provoking.
Michael Jackson’s live performances are interesting to watch.
I like his moves and singing voice and stage presence is very strong.
I don’t know if he is a child molester, if the evidence is so strong as some have mentioned on this thread, why was he cleared at court?
I always remember watching an interview of him, where they kept having to repeat the clip of filming because he kept giggling like a kid at something. I found it endearing.
People like MJ, Amy Winehouse, Selena Gomez older songs bring back very vivid memories to me that make me look back at the past with rose tinted spectacles
He paid families he settled with them outside of Court when they brought suits against him for child molestation
Its possible its made up. But its unlikely as far as i understand it.
But yes. It is a public unknown.
I don’t hate him for it I don’t want to slander him I just think that the way that we publicly talk about it is that it’s unknown so then we just leave it alone which isn’t fair to the children that were potentially victimized and certainly not fair to him because we need to understand who he was and why he did what he did given that he was a public Persona the way he was

I like how he is kind of weird but still so cool!
If he molested children, that’s not cool though.
I feel it is helpful for a child to know if they were molested, especially if the molester says so and sincerely apologises. Because then it gives the start of healing a chance, and understanding for any effects on the child, in adulthood.
It’s just my opinion, I know there are ppl who may disagree and would rather that the person didn’t know, idk.

I don’t think there’s any way to apologize to a child for sexual abuse.
It just simply is.
Healing and such comes from inside the victim,
Not because of something a molester said.
