If fathers don’t pass down Intelligence or looks to their sons, what do they???
Interesting because my dad is literally like the smartest most competent person i know. My mom is smart too but not like my dad. But my mom is more emotionally intelligent than intellectual. I think I am like this, like my mom.
When it comes to looks, my mom is more attractive than my dad. She ages better and she fits societies idea of attraction more. My dad is very masculine though and I inherited that from him. But looks??? I dunno because I honestly don’t know how good looking I am. I just know I’m not ugly. But I don’t understand the genetics/hereditary stuff behind looking good. Sure lots is environmental. But your basic appearance is largely genetic.
Oh man I’m pissed no one responded to this thread besides my maaan far cry. But me and my mom just had a discussion on this. We were talking about height and why I’m short. Because my mom is the same height as me and my dad is 2-3 inches taller. So by theory I should be 5’10 not 5’6.
It’s because we believe height skips a generation
So we talked about my grandparents height. They were all short so it explains why I’m short. My kids will be taller than me probably.
But my mom had her biological and her father who raised her and I asked how tall they were my mom said “they were both very short”. I say “well most Italians are short. You never meet a 6’6 Italian person.” And then my other side I’m Jewish. Also short people. Don’t mean to make this about heritage as much as genetics. But I find it funny . But there are tall Italians and Jews. Just haven’t met them yet I bet.
