I’ve been reading the books for the past 5 months. Taking it slow. A chapter a night usually. I’m on the half-blood prince. I also love the films too. I really want to go to Harry Potter Warner Bros studio tour. Maybe for my birthday. Would you be a good wizard or a dark wizard? I’d probably be both. And Belletrix Lestrange would absolutely get it from me if I was a dark wizard haha.
I would not call myself a fan of Harry Potter, but I did read the entire series in the English language.
In fact it helped me get through the first stages of my schizophrenia.
I read all the books to my children in the early 2000s, and then we would go to Barnes and Noble for the release parties they used to hold when new books would come out. It was really a wonderful experience.
Of course, before the movies, I pronounced Hermione as “Hermean”. So they had to accept the change from then on.
I like Harry Potter. Been thinking about reading them again.
I read up to the half blood prince when I was younger, love the books and the escape into the magical world, rewatching all the films on dvd currently. I would want to be a good wizard with a bunch of dirty spells. “Erectus Maximonius!”
Just gave me a “Life of Brian” flashback.
Isn’t that a monty python film? I don’t think I ever saw it but I love the holy grail.
So weird I just woke up from a dream where it said Harry or Ron? As in preference. N then I see this thread.
I don’t like the movies but used to love the books
Yeeees! Mee! I am a big potterhead. ♂
I started reading harry potter in elementary school, it was a good book for the time, and I even aged appropriately with the series and its adapting genre scope. I feel that the later books were off the mark in terms of what I wanted for the series, and that’s ok, I think it did aspire to try to be a bit of a genre mixer near the end. I appreciated Harry Potters bonds with friends especially because of my trouble making friends. So that was nice in a cringey sad way I guess.
I think I would be a mediocre wizard I rely on spell check too much XD
Dark one

I like the books and movies, but the author I don’t really like.
Lmao and if you get a girl pregnant use ‘Deletus fetus’ haha
I grew up with Harry Potter, and my family were pretty big fans. I’ve watched the movies a lot, but now just recently listening to the books on audible. Jim Dale, the narrator, gives the books life.
I don’t read but I have watched all the movies a couple of times.
Not sure if it’s due to Autism, but I obsessively focus on certain things for a period of time, and move on to the next thing. I think this is where the repetitive behaviours thing comes in. Harry Potter was one of them
At the moment I am listening to a new musical artist who I have listened to his music over and over again for the last 4 weeks
