No, its a capsule, you can open it to get the powder. But problem is it counteracts the effects of antipsychotics which block dopamine.
My psychiatrist prescribes me fluoxetine and aripiprazole. (Along with Zyprexa and rexulti) I am on 20 mg fluoxetine and 30 mg aripiprazole. I am concerned to hear this.
I still have negative symptoms according to my therapist. I don’t do much but sit on the couch all day. I don’t feel depressed, just no motivation or get up and go. Just flat emotionally too. Plus more I suppose. It’s hard to think.
I felt better when I came off my AD. I was on effexor 75mg for about a decade. 3 months of brutal withdrawals but after that was over I felt a lot better off my AD then when I was on it.
Negatives are not a huge problem for me. I have little bit of the flat effect, I’ve never been super emotional, and some people say I am monotone but I do feel better off my AD than when I was on it.
I was also on Paxil for a while and didn’t feel like that did much.
