That was a good public service announcement for 20 somethings. I dont think most young teens would jave it sunk in.
The “just say no” thing helped younger people more. It was simple and gave them permission to reject a popular practice.
And if a teen in usa, then popular = being liked. Teens are petrified of not being liked.
