Another "Learned Helplessness" Psychology Thread

I have come across at least half a dozen “Learned Helplessness” threads that have been closed on this forum. Just thought I would start another since this Psychology topic is quite an important finding.

I feel like good schooling provides the foundation for overcoming this. But then the institutionalisation and criminality treatment MH patients are given leads us into helplessness - often signs would be things like picking up smoking

(I know I’m pulling ideas out of thin air, but it’s the way I’ve experienced it)

Well, I am a mental health patient that did studied this Psychology topic. I understand the theory & results from the “Learned Helplessness” experiments but there is no solution. Unless the remedies for “Learned Helplessness” is presented in the level 200, 300 or 400 psychology courses which I never made it to.
