Have you considered selling your work?

I ask because I sold 2 original ballet dancer sketches for £10 each on eBay
This is encouraging but it also feels a lot like luck

I’m considering getting limited edition prints to sell, but at what point do you decide you could sell 5 of them? Per drawing that sounds insane

Also, who buys pencil sketches? Doesn’t everyone want paintings?
And is eBay the best place to sell?
At what point do you go from charging £10 To £45?

I’m so far behind how I hope to be one day,
I just started and I’m also not in the middle of a foundation degree with unlimited help and resources

Also, my sister was / is one of the best portrait photographers in the world ever and she couldn’t sell her work, mainly focused on galleries but no sales to speak of

Just wondering about your thoughts

I’m not obviously going to make a profit I know, it’s just fun, but how many extra artists must there be during lockdown!

Your drawings are very beautiful and delicate. I love it.

Have you ever tried watercolour?

I would like to do something with my art idk what, if I become a natural. By that I mean that I feel more at ease to paint with an end product that is not a total disaster.

IDK how I’d go about it thou haven’t thought about it properly. :pensive:

But that’s cool that you sold!! I’m not surprised that they sold. Keep at it if you enjoy it :)))

Thanks for bringing it up its good to hear success stories about stuff like that even if its just the start.
