Is it a symptom of the meds, a negative symptom of sz or a symptom of depression?

If u don’t have sz anhedonia is symptom of depression. If u don’t have sad mood and have sz then the anhedonia is a negative symptom. “Many people with schizophrenia report severe anhedonia”- i read that in an abnormal psych text book.

We must have depleted our ‘fight or flight’ supply which left us overdrawn at the happy gland.

I have anhedonia. I had it before I started on meds. It’s a negative symptom for me. I’ve had anhedonia for 7 years. That really sucks. I just hang on and hope for better meds in the future.
