Angie meets her disability lawyer a month before the trial

Excited…two more months and we find out if she gets disability…my pdoc said usually when it’s a judge you get approved…I certainly hope so.

It depends on the judge. I just went through the hearing. It can take a while to find out if the judge approves or denies. My hearing was July 2 and no word yet. I’m hoping he approves me because my doctor and therapist sent forms saying I can’t work reliably. Hope Angie gets approved, best wishes!

I go in sept to psychiatrist and on another day to a medical dr. For evaluation. Just hoping and praying that they agree with my doctors.
I haven’t been denied yet but I’m really scared to death about the psychiatrist evaluation
Said on the paper it could take 3 hours and I’m like what the hell are they gonna do for 3 hours with me.

The last thing I remember was Angie was working. What happened?

Angie is unable to work because of her depressive disorder plus her bad back…we haven’t got an MRI to show why her back is hurt, but we have plenty of paperwork documenting that she is mentally ill.

When I was at my best exercise cured everything. Huh?

They usually want a year’s worth of medical history. The more visits, the better the odds. Also, hospitalization shows disability. More than 3 points to disability. As long as the lawyer can show documentation of a disability s h e should be fine. Even if she is denied she can apply again with newer evidence. I had to.

I think during the hearing if the ALJ keeps it short that may be a good sign. I was in there for less than ten minutes and I was told right away I won. Hopefully Angie will be approved. That would be a load off your shoulders.

yes indeed…it’s been really hard getting by on one check but this will surely go in her favor…the attourney had a five hundred page document to go through with her and now she has to go back tomorrow for the other half. This attourney is very good I think.
