An update on the efficacy of anti-inflammatory agents for patients with schizophrenia: a meta-analysis

I have inflammation mainly i think caused by allergies which excecerbates my psychosis

LS! It is good to know that NAC and willow bark work. I take these for several years now. Fatty acids: I take Borage Oil (GLA) against neuroinflammation, according to LIFE EXTENSION (September 2018 Magazine) this works, but the text above says fatty acids have no evidence. I take a statin (simvastatin) too, and I felt better after starting taking it. I could read easier. There is some positive research on statins and schizophrenia. Maybe astaxanthin works too.

There’s a lot of research saying that NAC helps with negatives. But it seems to interact in a really bad way with abilify. I wish I could take it. I tried and it just didn’t end well.

I got my CRP (C-reactive protein) blood test a few months ago. The reading was 1.1 and the normal range is anything less than 3. CRP is used to measure inflammation.

I think they’re testing aspirin in Sz patients but only when the CRP is very high, around 8 or 9.
