Poop! My echo dot is not working. Is anyone else having problems with Amazon Alexa? Maybe Alexa is taking part in “The Great Resignation”?

Yes, same here up north. It took me two minutes of standing in the dark to remember that one can still manually operate the light switches.
Some of the comments regarding turning the lights on, etc. on the downdetector website are hilarious.
Yeah I noticed my echo-dot was acting weird yesterday, the lights kept dimming and lighting up blue I turned it off…

Yeah, mine was out. You’re in California too, right @Moonbeam? Alexa was out for about an hour or two. I tried it right when I read this post right now and now I’m happily listening to Norwegian Wood.
When my Dot went out I did a search of "what does it mean when Alexa gives you a “I’m not understanding you right now.” It gave some reasons and 5 possible solutions (for next time). I found cussing at her doesn’t help.
