Am I going to be ok?

My last psychosis has me feeling a bit crappy about myself.

My first episode of psychosis happened in 2010 and the next one happned in 2020 (that too cos I came off the meds with guidance from my consultant at the time)…

Do you think it’s possible I can have another decade of no psychosis…?

I don’t know. But if you do all those things that are healthy and proactive, you have a better chance of having fewer episodes that don’t last as long. Things in life happen of course that you can’t predict, but if you stay on the right track, take your meds, communicate with your health team, it is easier.

I had psychosis in 2016 and was pretty good for four years off meds. I definitely had symptoms though. I kept moving jobs because I thought I was on a tv show. But I did pretty well for being unmedicated. My last job I was making 40k a year.
It’s very possible you can go without psychosis. Just stay on your meds and it might work out. I randomly get it like once a week now. Depending on what I do. Last night I played video games for two hours which was enough to trip me into psychosis

I don’t know if you’ll have another psychosis, but if you follow your drs orders, get enough rest, and manage your stress levels you have a better chance at not having psychosis
