Almost forgot my birthday is today

I completely forgot I was supposed to go to my sisters house for dinner until my stepmom called and reminded me a half hour ago.
61 years old today. That’s 42 years with schizophrenia. It seems like it went by in a flash. All of a sudden I’m old but I still get around. Still working, still driving.
Words of wisdom? I’ll have to think. Time for dinner at my sisters house.
