I first joined this forum in November 2017 and have had multiple name changes.
After going through hard times of different sorts and many ups and downs I now feel mostly stable. Many years ago when I was suffering a lot with lots of symptoms I didn’t know what services were available or that I had schizophrenic symptoms. I didn’t know about the values and benefits of psych meds and therapies like art and music and talk therapy. I didn’t know we had an Assertive Community Treatment downtown with a good helpful staff.
I like being able to check the forum regularly to see what’s going on with everyone although I’m sorry I can’t help much since I’m not trained for that but hopefully most of us can get services somewhere.
I’ve lived in the U.S. all my life but would like to move to Canada or Europe or the U.K. someday. They seem like they would be better places to live as far as their lifestyles.
