AI and schizophrenia

What impact do you guys think AI will have on schizophrenia research and psychiatry in general? Things are moving so quickly. I used to think it would be 30 years before we had really good medicine for psychiatric disorders but with the pace of things it seems like the goal post is getting closer and closer.

I feel the vr glasses will help in tracking sz !
The eye movements and tracking of our eye and where we look and the AI should understand what we are thinking :face_with_monocle: its a long way but worth a try.

Possibly not as far off as people are thinking. I’ve heard a lot of credible people saying we’ll have AGI by 2026. If that’s the case all bets are off.

Anyone that says we will have agi in 2 years is not credible lol.

Maybe not 3 years but I’m telling you… closer then you think

I think AI will have a positive impact.

I think a.i. will be able to diagnose schizophrenia pretty soon.

No matter how fast AI get, the FDA process will still be slow to approve drugs.

I mean Ulotaront is an AI-discovered drug. One phase 3 trial result will hopefully be out soon, and the drug developers are aiming for a FY 2024 release. Exciting stuff!

AI helps I guess more the data and information to feed more the success of getting an appropriate treatment. The drug through AI should be released soon to have a check on what it’s impact is.

Bleh. That’s time I could spend playing Beat Saber.
