After looking online for bikes

After looking online for cruiser bikes, I decided not to get a bike. I decided I’d rather hoof it than deal with a bike and all of it’s possible mechanical difficulties, like a car almost. I’d kind of like to have a bike. I just don’t want to have to buy one and deal with having to put it together and all of that. Of course, I could hire a handyman to put it together for me.:slightly_smiling_face: I guess I’m still undecided.

I usually buy used bikes, and they function just as good as new bikes do, without the hassle of putting them together

I own a cruiser bike, but ended up just walking everywhere anyway.

When I worked at Sears we had a guy in the back who’s sole job was to assemble and repair bicycles. Maybe you can find something like that.

I bought my current bicycle 1.5 years ago and it has served well, sometimes I have flat tires but then I take my bicycle to a special bicycle repair place where they fix it.

That’s a great idea! Thanks @Pikasaur. I used to buy used but relatively new cars that had extended warranties on them. That way, I got a good price and a good car.

That’s my problem, @mjseu, there are no bike repair shops within walking distance to me and I don’t drive anymore. I don’t know how I would get my bike fixed if I had a problem.

That’s interesting, @Borath. You have a bike and you choose to walk instead? What is your reason?

Oh, it takes practice, I know. I’m just really wobbly on a bike. I’m a lot surer-footed walking.
