Adobe illustrator for begginers?

i want to learn vecotr art, adobe illustrator, but it cost so much, maybe there is another software still good to learn vector art?

I used to use adobe illustrator a lot actually. I took a digital design class for 4 years in high school. Sadly I’m not sure the best way to learn and I barely remember how to use the program. It is a lot of fun when you get into it tho!
