About waking up in the morning

Coming out of my dream state is always difficult for me. How do you deal with it? I always wake up and want to hurt someone - sometimes me . I have to really talk to myself to get in a positive frame of mind.

I’m prone to bad dreams, so I often wake up and try to sort out if what happened in my dream actually happened and am I awake now. There’s also the whole issue of my back hurts too much to keep lying down, but I’m too exhausted from nightmares to get up.

A bad dream was what sent me to a shrink to begin with. No waking up cheery and rested.

I don’t sleep much. But when I do, waking up is agony.

Get a shower and coffee or similar and hope you get in a better mood…:slightly_smiling_face:

Waking up is hard for me cause I’m up super early. But what helps me is knowing after a couple of hours I can go back to bed for an hour.

I’m not really sleepy when I wake up. I wake up naturally, no alarm.

I don’t like waking up either. It usually puts me in a depression to wake up.
