but from what I know, there are some who are forced to do the work, and some who actually enjoy it.
Though from my perspective, I cannot understand who can enjoy sleeping with 3-5 new strangers everyday.

@Shhh It’s surprising, at least in my experience, the number of men that have done it.
@TheSecondVariety here (EU), depending of the country is either completely legal and regulated, or in a sort of legal gap. About stds, you can allways take preventive measures. About how it works… well the first time is allways like this. But it’s not too complicated.

Morals are not good or evil they are just rules that you try to follow. Right and wrong to me is if someone is negatively affected.

I had a roommate that was a hooker.
She never admitted to it fully,
But we talked about it a little.
The woman always paid rent, was clean and I don’t recall any real disagreements.
Her gig was clearly appealing to a certain fetish.
She used protection and always felt in control.
Aside from that I don’t know much.
I will say, she seemed legit happy.
I know that’s not the case for most sex workers who are forced to it by circumstance or otherwise.

I agree many of them have drug addiction. One of them told me she loves to stuff her nose with cocaine, another smelled strong alcoholic odor. Many smelled weed.
