mr. mc murphy knows the answer
Sounds like one of those concrete hinting tests. I was asked what people who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones means.
Because it’s moving nothing can grow on it. I guess that’s a metaphor to if you don’t settle into routine you won’t grow wise? By the way I know that’s a metaphor because I heard that once before
Give me more metaphors! Thought disorder test!
John Moss was in a band called ‘culture club’. He wasn’t in the rolling stones though. So the rolling stones gathered no John moss.
i got this from the movie, ‘‘one flew over the cuck coo’s nest’’ the psycharist asked the question i asked
I suck at these things. My question would be how does it keep moving? I don’t know. All I can think of is the Labyrinth where the one creature could call rocks. I also don’t understand the saying “those who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.” My mom explained it has something to do with criticizing others but to me I think it has to do with gardeners. Why are these “common” sayings so confusing?

[/quote]On this board, it could mean that people with schizophrenia have little to no “moss”, for our minds are constantly in motion - everchanging & evolving.
I used to think the rolling stones were their balls. Their music had a lot of balls. Another metaphor I could understand because I made it up.
idk, its too deep for me lol, i am not Confucius and idk what he will say haha
" A rolling stone gathers no moss" means to me you better keep moving or you won’t be able to move in the future. What is the true meaning of this metaphor?
It has two different meanings
I guessed the contemporary one (sort of anyway), but not the original one
moss to me means life
I’m with @martinhersey1 here, it’s the movement of the rock.
It means that moss doesn’t grow on rock stars , especially British ones who sing miss you and sympathy of the devil
