I think though that most people have something to hide. For example substance abuse, being in a abusive relationship, doing criminal acts, cheating…etcetera.

We all lie, mostly to ourselves. Anyone who tells you they never lie is lying to your face.
Look at me, brash American who’s big mouth has a habit of getting himself in trouble, telling way too private of stories, and being generally creepy. With all my stories, I still have things I hide. We all do to some extent.
Plus, living a happy lie doesn’t seem your style. A man with a penchant for the occult usually searches for truth.

Many normies have unusual beliefs @everhopeful but the difference is they function in society. Back in the middle ages, people thought SCZs were demon-possessed. In the middle ages, we were witches. In ancient China, SCZs were bothered by ghosts.
In modern times SCZ lives in a surveillance state, with CIA dental implants BS. They can’t all be right, the delusional beliefs center around a cultural context. The simplest explanation is that I have a malfunctioning brain
It leads me to misinterpret my experiences. I consider myself very ahead of the times, my unusual beliefs centered around Time Travel.
