Negative symptoms means

Pray clarify this: what are positive and negative symptoms? I see it mentioned so much on the forum, but i am not clear what is being referred to.

Positive is hallucinations and delusions. Negative is low motivation, apathy, anhedonia, etc.

Fortunately I had some nice life experiences before the negative symptoms kicked my butt. So I have some good things to think about while I barely exist.

Positive symptoms are symptoms that other people would never have negative symptoms are when you lack traits that other people normally have
